Welcome to the Everman High School Athletic Hall of Honor, an esteemed recognition program dedicated to preserving and honoring the achievements of outstanding athletes, coaches, and individuals who have made significant contributions to the school's athletic programs.

Our mission is to acknowledge the remarkable accomplishments of those who have left a lasting impact on Everman High School Athletics and serve as role models for future generations.

Any person may nominate an individual for consideration by the Everman Athletics Hall of Honor Selection Committee. The following are basic guidelines for considering a nominee:

• Individuals and teams have made outstanding contributions to Everman athletics and achieved high levels of success, distinction and/or recognition.

• Individuals should have an honorable and respectable reputation/ public image since leaving Everman.

• Athletes are not eligible for induction until at least ten years after separation from Everman.

• Coaches are not eligible for induction until at least five years after separation from Everman.

Criteria

Consideration of nominees for induction will have specific minimum criteria used for determining eligibility and viability of all nominations. The general, minimum standards for considering nominations are as follows:

All nominations

1. High levels of achievement during athletics participation at Everman High School, or other evidence of honor, distinction or service to the College and its athletics program.

2. A person of sound character, judgment and distinction in such ways that represent Everman HIgh School in a positive manner.

3. No record of criminality or other illegal behaviors or activities that would reflect poorly on Everman High School. 

Student-Athletes

1. Minimum of ten years’ separation from Everman.

2. Selection to 1st Team all-district or equivalent.

3. Notable success after leaving Everman, in athletics or other endeavors.

Coaches / Administrators

1. Minimum of five years’ separation from Everman coaching or administrative role.

Teams

1. Minimum of five years’ separation from Everman.

2. State Championship or equivalent.

Meritorious Service

1. Demonstrated service, contribution and support of Everman Athletics.

2. Minimum of five years of recognized service and/or support.

3. No separation time from service or support role required.

    

The voting committee responsible for selecting the inductees will be select committee each year. The committee will be composed of members of the Everman community and those who have an interest in Everman Athletics. 

1. To be considered for induction, the completed nomination form must be submitted to the athletic office by June 1st.

2. The Hall of Honor Selection Committee will base their decision on the information provided by the individual making the nomination. It is important to provide thorough and complete information about the nominee's accomplishments, as the committee will not conduct further research.

3. In addition to the nomination form, the individual making the nomination is encouraged to write a letter of recommendation for the nominee. Other letters of support from appropriate individuals who can validate or substantiate information related to the nominee's high school career or contributions are also welcome.

4. Any additional news articles or details can be attached to the nomination form or emailed to jpolk@eisd.org. Photocopies are preferred, and all attachments become the property of the EISD Hall of Honor and will not be returned.

5. All nominations will be kept on file for three years. Additional information can be added to the nomination at any time.
